Beaver Lake Striped Bass is heating up with warming water temps. The topwater bite has begun to pick back up.  Striper are being caught near timber , main lake points and secondary points.

Trout are hot in the tailwater.

Trout are feeding heavily and can be caught ona variety of baits/lures.

Make sure you do not keep striper under 20 inches and not more than 3 striper or hybrid or combination, Walleye must be 18 inches long with a limit of 4!

Beaver lake striper fishing will be GOOD with striper taken on live bait fished from the surface using free lines and down to the 40′ range using down lines. Also effective is trolling with plugs like Rapala #14 husky jerk’s in black back or purple back colors and Smithwick Rogues in similar colors in 5-6inch model on flat lines, downriggers, dipsy divers or with snap weights to spread out your presentation. Jerk baits like flukes, swim baits like power bait swim shad 3-5″ long and bucktail jigs with plastic tails will also produce. Use chartruese for stained water and white/blue combos for clear. Best time for Striper Fishing On Beaver Lake

All anglers are curious as to when is the best time to Charter A Striper Fishing Guide on Beaver Lake? True enough some days are better than others but fact is that due to Beaver Lakes unique topography and location that there really
is no one time better than another, however as is with all fishing none of it is set in stone and can be quite variable according to current conditions.

STRIPER ACTIVITY

The slowest time is when the water is the coldest for the year. That takes place typically in January and February however, as the water begins to warm the Striped Bass’ metabolism on Beaver Lake begins to pick up and so does their activity level and requirement for food. So we do very well on from March through December Striper Fishing Beaver Lake.

MY FAVORITE TIME
My absolute favorite time to Charter A Striper Fishing Guide on Beaver Lake is when the weather pattern is stable in summer. Summer is when the water is at the warmest for the year and the fish activity is at its peak. The weather is typically stable without cold fronts coming through to shut down a bite.

So I typically would suggest May June July August for summer or warmest water Striped Bass fishing on Beaver Lake.

SEASONAL EFFORTS
March and April are usually good to Charter A Striper Fishing Guide on Beaver Lakefor spring but you have to deal with Cold front on occasion and rain so the weather pattern is not stable. September October November and December are also good for cool weather fishing but once again you have to deal with cold fronts rain etc.
